Doha
Two lines, a whole thought.
दो पंक्ति में सारा आकाश।
The doha is a rhymed couplet built to carry one complete idea in a breath. Kabir, Rahim, Tulsidas and Bihari used it for advice, devotion and wit, and many of their lines are still quoted in everyday speech.
Two lines.
Each line breaks into two halves, 13 beats and then 11.
The two lines end on the same sound.
